The Podcast module lets users browse and play audio episodes, and manage their on-demand audio content—all in one place.

How to Navigate the ‘Podcast’ Page

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. From the main Dashboard (left‐hand navigation menu), select Media.

  3. Under Media, click on Podcast. This takes you to the Podcast Home page, where you’ll see various sections like “Trending Podcast,” “Categories,” “Recently Played,” “Popular Albums,” etc.

Navigating the Podcast Home

From the Podcast Home page:

  1. Trending Podcast. Discover popular or recently highlighted podcast episodes. Click on any thumbnail to view more details or start playing.

  2. Categories. Quickly filter by topic (e.g., Motivation, Pray, Debate, etc.). Selecting a category shows podcasts or episodes that match that theme.

  3. Playlist. Shows curated sets of podcast episodes (e.g., Heaven’s Gate). Click on a playlist name or its cover image to open and see the full episode list.

  4. Recently Played. Displays your listening history for quick access to episodes you’ve already started.

  5. Popular Albums. A grid of podcast “albums” or series with their update frequency (e.g., Updated Weekly). Click any album to see individual episodes.

  6. View All links. In sections like “Trending Podcast,” “Popular Albums,” and “Playlist,” look for a View All button to see a full list of available items.

💡Tip: You can always use the Search bar at the top to find a specific topic, speaker, or podcast series.

Viewing Podcast Albums & Playlists

When you click on a podcast album or playlist:

  1. You’ll see a cover image, title, and description at the top.

  2. Below that, you’ll find a list of episodes:

    1. Episode title

    2. Short summary or introduction

    3. Duration (e.g., 30m)

    4. Post date (e.g., 5D for 5 days ago)

  3. Some pages have a Shuffle or Latest Episode button:

    1. Shuffle – Plays episodes randomly.

    2. Latest Episode – Takes you straight to the newest upload.

Playing an Episode

  1. Click on an episode’s Play icon to start listening.

  2. A player bar may appear at the bottom (or top) of your screen, showing:

    1. Episode title (e.g., Chapel of the Holy Cross Tour)

    2. Current playback time vs. total duration (e.g., 0:00 / 54:17)

    3. Play/Pause button

    4. Volume control

    5. Close (X) button to stop playback

  3. Use the seek bar (the red or gray slider) to jump ahead or replay a segment.

💡Pro Tip: You can browse other pages in ChurchPad while the audio continues playing in the background (as long as your browser supports it).

Episode Detail Page

When you open an episode detail page by clicking the three-dot menu next to the episode thumbnail in the Playlist or Album Single View.

  1. Episode Info: Title and duration, Speaker name), Short description or summary, Categories

  2. Play Button: Large button to begin streaming immediately.

  3. Share Icon: Often next to the play button—lets you share the episode link via email or social media.
