ChurchPad Kids 6.5 Platform Guide
Overview
The Children Check-In System is designed to enable parents, guardians, and assigned teachers to securely and efficiently check children into their designated classrooms.
The platform includes:
Filtering & Search Functions – Quickly locate a child or parent.
Bulk Check-In Options – Check in multiple children at once.
Secure Attendance Tracking – Ensures children are accounted for in their respective classrooms.
Requirements
The church must have an account with ChurchPad.
Individuals must be registered on the platform.
Teachers using the system must be registered as assigned teachers.
Sections of the Children Check-In
The system is divided into two main sections:
Check-In Station – For quick child attendance management.
Children Dashboard – For detailed child records, notes, and parent communications.

How to Sign In to the Kids Check-In Platform
Open your browser and go to: www.kids.churchpad.com.
OR – If you are a registered/assigned teacher, you can log in via the User Portal and access the Kids Check-In Dashboard.
Enter the following details on the Sign-In Page:
Church Code (6-digit code provided to your church).
Email Address (your registered email).
Password (your secure password).
Click Sign In.
⚠️ If you miss a required field (e.g., password), the system will display a red warning (e.g., “Password is required”).

Section 1: Check-In Station
The Check-In Station is used to quickly check children into classrooms.
Steps:
Search for Parent/Guardian
Use the search bar to find the parent or guardian.
Each entry shows:
Parent’s name
Number of registered children
View button

Select Children
Clicking View displays all children linked to the parent.
Each child's card shows:
Name
Classroom (age-based group)
Age
Action: Check-In (for individual child) or Check-In All (for bulk action).

Confirmation Prompt
If using Check-In All, the system asks: “Are you sure you want to check in all your children?”
Choose Continue or Cancel.

Check-In Status
Successfully checked-in children show a green “Checked-In” badge.

Sibling Check-In Option
When checking in one child, the system may prompt: “Check-In Siblings?”
Select siblings to include before confirming.
Section 2: Children Dashboard
The Children Dashboard provides full access to child records, notes, and communication tools.
Children Grid View
Displays all registered children with key details:
Photo/Avatar
Name
Birthday, Age, Classroom
Parent/Guardian Name and Phone Number
Quick Actions:
Check In / Check Out
Send Message
Filters available: Classroom, Gender, and Search.

Child Profile Page
Clicking on a child opens their profile, showing:
Full name, date of birth, gender, age
Classroom and school name
Allergies
Parent/guardian info
Actions:
Edit – update child’s records
Notes – add or review notes from teachers
Send Message – communicate with parents

Notes Management
View Notes: Teachers can see past feedback, comments, or updates.

Add Note: Enter subject, message, and attach files (images, PDFs, etc.).

Reply to Notes: Continue communication under existing notes.

Empty State: If no notes exist, the system displays “No Notes.”

Messaging Parents/Guardians
Select Send Message from profile or grid.
Fill in:
Sender ID
Message Type (SMS/Text, Email, etc.)
Message content
Scheduling (Send Now or Send Later).

Confirm Message – A preview displays before sending.
Choose Send Message or Edit Details.

Check-In / Check-Out (Dashboard View)
From the grid, teachers can quickly Check In or Check out child a child.
The button changes color to reflect the current status.
This provides real-time attendance tracking.
