Prayer Wall

The Prayer Wall lets you submit prayer requests, view and support others’ prayers, leave encouraging comments, and mark requests as granted, creating a shared space for intercession and encouragement

How to Navigate the Prayer Wall

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Go to “Prayer Wall” – In the left-hand menu (or main navigation), click Prayer Wall to open the page.

Browse and Filter Prayers

  1. All Prayers vs. My Prayers

    1. All Prayers – Displays every prayer request from other members, arranged chronologically by posting date

    2. My Prayers – This shows only the prayers you’ve posted, making it easy to find and manage your own requests.

  2. Trending Prayers. On the right side, you may see a list of popular categories (e.g., Relationships, Family, Work) along with how many prayers fall under each.

    1. Clicking a category filters the feed so you only see requests specific to that topic.

Tip: Category filters (like “Health,” “Academics,” “Finance,” etc.) help you quickly find prayers relevant to your interests.

Add a New Prayer

  1. Click “What’s your prayer?” – Near the top, you’ll see an input box with your name or avatar next to it (e.g., “What’s your prayer, [Name]?”).

  2. Expand the Modal – A pop-up will open labeled “Add Prayer.”

  3. Fill Out the Details

    1. Select a Category. Pick a category that best fits your request (e.g., Relationships, Work, Health).

    2. Compose Your Prayer. Type your request or intercession in the text box provided. You can use basic text formatting (bold, italics) and even emojis if desired.

    3. Attach Media (Optional). Click the icons for Photo, Video, or Audio if you want to include a visual or recorded message. Ensure your file meets the size/format requirements.

    4. Post Anonymously (Optional). Toggle “Post anonymously” if you’d prefer to hide your name. Your request will appear as “Anonymous” to other users.

  4. Click “Submit Prayer” – Once you’re satisfied, confirm to publish your request on the wall.

  5. Confirmation – You should see your prayer appear under All Prayers (and under My Prayers if you want to track or manage it later).

Interact with Other Prayers

  1. Pray. Click the “Pray” button (often shown as folded hands) to indicate you’ve prayed for that request. This can encourage the requester, letting them know others are praying alongside them.

  2. Comment. Click “Comment” to leave a supportive note, a verse, or any words of encouragement.

  3. Share. Allows you to share a prayer (e.g., with a friend or on social media). Look for a “Share” icon to send a direct link or post it externally.

Manage Your Prayers

When you open the My Prayers tab or look at your post in All Prayers, you can manage them using a three-dot menu (… ) or a similar icon.

  1. Edit - If you need to revise or add more details, select “Edit” to modify your text, category, or media attachments.

  2. Mark as Granted- If the prayer has been answered, click “Mark as Granted.” This is a great way to celebrate answered prayers and let others know that God has moved in that situation.

  3. Archive - To clean up the current feed without completely losing your post, choose “Archive.” This hides it from the main Prayer Wall, but you can still find it in your My Prayers tab.

  4. Delete- If you no longer wish to keep a prayer request visible at all, select “Delete.” This action usually removes it permanently from your account and the Prayer Wall.
