Testimony Wall

On the Testimony Wall, you can share your story, read others’ testimonies, and leave encouragement.

Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Go to “Testimony Wall.” In the left-hand menu (or main navigation), click Testimony Wall to open the page.

All Testimonies vs. My Testimonies
1. All Testimonies: This shows every post from various members.
2. My Testimonies: Displays only testimonies you’ve posted
Feed Layout – Each testimony card typically includes:
1. The author’s name (or “Anonymous”) and a category (e.g., Finance, Family).
2. Text, images, audio clips, or videos (if the user included media).
3. Like, Comment, and Share options are at the bottom
Category Tabs – Quickly access posts under a particular category, like “Finance” or “Family.”
Trending Testimonies – A sidebar may show categories and how many testimonies are in each.

Find “What’s your testimony?” – Near the top, you’ll see a text box labeled “What’s your testimony, [Your Name]?”

Tip: Categories help others find and read testimonies relevant to a specific topic or life situation.

Write Your Testimony. Type your message in the text box. Use formatting tools (bold, italics, etc.) if available.
Attach Media (Optional). Click the photo icon to upload images or pictures. Select the video icon or audio icon to include short clips or recordings.
Toggle “Post Anonymously” – If you want your name hidden, switch this on. Your testimony will appear from “Anonymous,” helping maintain privacy.
Submit – Once your text and media are ready, click “Submit Testimony.”

Like – Show support or appreciation by clicking the Like button.
Comment – Join the conversation by leaving an encouraging note or response.
Share – Allows you to share a testimony to your social media feed or send it as a link to friends.

Edit or Delete – You can return to your posted testimony to update details or remove it.
Privacy Settings – If you posted as “Anonymous,” you can often keep your identity hidden, even if you decide to edit the text.
Notifications – You may receive a notification when someone likes, comments, or shares your testimony.

Stories Row. At the top of the Testimony Wall, you’ll see round “bubbles” for each user who has created a testimony story.
Add Yours. The first bubble typically says “Add Yours” (or “+”), allowing you to quickly post a new story.

Click a Bubble. Tap or click on a user’s bubble to see their testimony in a full-screen story format.
Navigate. If there are multiple segments (text, images, short audio or video clips), they may auto-advance or you can tap to move forward/back.
Interact
1. Like: Tap the heart icon to show appreciation.
2. Share: Look for the share icon to forward it to others or share on social media.
3. Report: If you see inappropriate content, click the “…” menu and select “Report”.

Click “Add Yours” at the top of the Testimony/Stories area.
A pop-up window labeled “Add Your Story” appears.
1. Drag & Drop a file into the box or click “browse” to pick one from your device. Make sure it’s under 10 MB (images, short videos, or audio files, depending on what’s allowed).
2. Add a Caption (Optional).Type in the “Add Caption” text box. You can use bold, italics, or emojis. There’s a 160-character limit for the caption.
3. Click “Post Story” to publish. Click “Cancel” if you don’t want to post it. Once posted, your story will appear as a bubble at the top of the Testimony Wall.

Tap Your Bubble – You’ll see your testimony in full-screen format.
Options (… Menu) – In the top-right corner, tap the three-dot icon for:
1. Edit – Make changes to your text or media.
2. Report – Flag your post if there’s an issue.
3. Delete Story – Remove the story entirely from the wall.
Like & Share – Even your own story can typically be liked and shared, allowing you or others to amplify its reach.
