Children
The Children module allows you to view and manage child member profiles—adding or editing details, —all in one spot.
How to Navigate the Children's Page
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Select “Children” – In the left-hand menu, click Children. You’ll see a grid of all child profiles currently in the system, each showing basic details like Name, Birthday, Age, Gender, and Favorite Color.
Add a New Child
Find the “Add” Button – Look for a “+” icon or button (at the bottom-right corner).
Fill out the Child’s Details (in the Add Child modal):
Profile Photo (Optional) – Click the photo icon to upload an image of the child.
First, Middle, Last Name – Enter the child’s name in the designated fields.
Date of Birth – Use the date picker to choose the exact birthday.
Gender – Select from the dropdown (e.g., Male/Female).
Favorite Color – Pick from the dropdown if desired.
Child’s Food Allergies – List any known allergies (e.g., peanuts, dairy).
School Name
Save – Click “Save” to create the profile. You’ll see the new child appear in the Children list.

View a Child’s Full Profile
Locate the Child – Scroll through the list to find the specific child.
Click “View More” – Opens the Single Child View, which shows a larger header image (if set), the child’s profile photo, and fields like Name, Age, Gender, Food Allergies, etc.

Edit an Existing Child’s Information
Open the Single Child View – As above, find the child and click “View More.”
Click “Edit [Child’s Name] Profile” – Switches the page into Edit Mode, unlocking the fields for changes.
Update Fields – Modify name, birth date, gender, favorite color, allergies, or upload a new profile photo.
Cancel Changes – If you change your mind, select “Cancel Changes” to discard any edits.
Save Changes – When done, click “Save Changes” to finalize updates.

Remove a Child
Single Child View – Go to the child’s profile page.
Click “Remove Child” – This triggers a confirmation modal.
Confirm – Read the prompt and choose “Remove Child” if you’re sure.
Cancel and Go Back – If you don’t want to remove the profile, click this to retain it.
Note: Removing a child's profile typically cannot be undone, so be certain before confirming.
