Small Groups
In the Small Groups section, you can discover groups, view meeting details, join or leave a group, and connect with group leaders.
How to navigate and use the Small Group Page
Log In – Start by logging in to your Church’s ChurchPad account.
Select “Small Groups”. In the left-hand menu (or main navigation), look for Small Groups and click it to open the page.
You’ll see three main tabs across the top of the Small Groups page:
All Small Groups -Shows every available group in the church. Each group card includes a name, member count, and an image (if provided).
My Small Groups - Groups you already belong to or have been accepted into.
Pending Groups - Groups you’ve requested to join but are awaiting approval from a group leader.
Search & View Group Details
Search by Keyword – Use the Search bar to find a specific group by name or topic (e.g., “Coffee,” “Sunday Hangout,” etc.).
Open a Group Card –Click the three-dot menu, then click “View Group”. You’ll see details like About the Group, Meeting Time, and Group Leader contact info (email or phone).
Join a Group
From the Group Card, click the three-dot menu, then select the “Join Group” button. Alternatively, open “View Group,” then select “Request Join.”
A pop-up will ask you to confirm. Choose “Confirm & Join” to send your request to the group leader.
Success Message. You’ll see a “Success!” alert indicating your request was submitted.
Pending Status. Until the group leader approves, the group will appear under “Pending Groups.” Once approved, it moves to “My Small Groups.”
“My Small Groups” & “Pending Groups”
My Small Groups – Lists all groups where you’re a recognized member. Click on a group card to see meeting details and contact leaders.
Pending Groups – This shows any join requests you’ve sent but aren’t yet approved. You can track your request status here.
Interact with Group Leaders
Contact Options – Inside the group detail page, you might see the leaders’ names with Mail or Call buttons.
Mail – Opens your email client to send a message directly to the leader.
Call – If viewing on a mobile device, tapping “Call” will initiate a phone call (or display the number).
