Profile
On the Profile Settings page, you can update your personal info, change your profile and cover photo, adjust contact details, emergency, employment, and spouse information.
How to manage your Profile in the Settings Module
Log in to your Church’s ChurchPad account.
Navigate to Settings – Find the "Settings" menu, which is located either on the left navigation panel or in a dropdown menu accessible via your profile icon in the page's right corner.
Click “My Profile” – This will open your user profile page, where you can edit various information tabs.

How to Change & Verify Your Phone Number
Choose the Change Phone Number Option.
On the Change Phone Number page, enter your new phone number.
Make sure to include the correct country code (e.g., +254 for Kenya, +63 for the Philippines, +1 for the USA).
If the number is incomplete or invalid, you’ll see an error message: ⚠️ “The number is incomplete.”
Once correctly entered, click Update.

After clicking Update, a verification code will be sent via SMS to your new phone number.
If you didn’t receive the code, click Resend Code.
Verify Your Phone Number
On the Verify Phone Number page, enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone.
Input each number in the designated boxes.
Click Verify to complete the process.

Confirmation
If the code is correct, your new phone number will be successfully updated.
You can now use it for login verification and account security notifications.
Personal Information
Select the “Personal Information” Tab. Here, you’ll find fields such as Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Marital Status, Wedding Anniversary, Phone Number, Birth Date, and Gender.
Enter or Update Details – If something has changed (e.g., your last name or marital status), make the appropriate edits.
Save Changes – Click the “Save Changes” button to confirm any updates.

Contact Information
Go to the “Contact Information” Tab and update your address details (Address 1, Address 2, City, State/Region, ZIP/Postal Code, and Country).
Double-check accuracy – Ensure your contact info is correct so church communications reach you.
Save Changes – Remember to click the “Save Changes” button each time you complete or modify your information.

Emergency Information
Select “Emergency Information.” – Here, you can add one or more emergency contacts (e.g., family members or close friends).
Fill In Contact Fields – Enter names, relationships, phone numbers, and emails for each contact.
Save Changes – Don’t forget to save after adding or editing this data.

Employment Information
Click on “Employment Information” – Fill out details about your job, such as your Industry, Job Title, and Employment Status (full-time, part-time, etc.).
Save Changes – Confirm your updates once finished.

Spouse Information
Viewing Spouse Information
If you already have a spouse linked, their name, email, and phone number will be displayed.
Options available:
Edit Spouse → Replace spouse (goes through the add spouse process).
Remove Spouse → Unlink the spouse from your profile.

Adding a Spouse
If no spouse is linked, the screen will display “No Spouse” with an Add Spouse button.
Click Add Spouse.

A search modal will appear where you can search for your spouse by name, email, or phone number.
Select the correct person from the list.

Confirming Spouse Details
After selecting your spouse:
Enter additional details such as Wedding Anniversary and select any linked children.
Click Continue.

A confirmation screen will appear with the message: “Are you sure you want to add [Spouse’s Name]?”
Review carefully (this action is irreversible).
Click Add to finalize.

Responding to a Spouse Request
If someone adds you as their spouse:
You’ll see a notification in the Spouse Information tab.
It will display the requester’s details with the option to:
Accept Spouse → Link them as your spouse.
Decline Spouse → Reject the request.

Pending Requests
If you’ve sent a spouse request but it hasn’t been accepted yet, your status will show as Pending Request.
You will also have the option to Cancel Request.

Editing Spouse Information
If replacing (via Edit Spouse), you’ll go through the same process as adding a spouse:
Click Edit Spouse.
Use the search modal to find your spouse by name, email, or phone.
Select the correct person.

Removing a Spouse
Click Remove Spouse.
A confirmation dialog will appear: “Are you sure you want to remove [Spouse’s Name]?”
Select Remove Spouse to finalize, or Cancel and Go Back to exit.

🔔 Key Notes
Both users must have profiles in the system for the spouse link to work
The other person must accept the spouse's requests before the relationship is confirmed.
Adding/removing a spouse is an irreversible action.
Review Your Profile
View the Summary – Once you’ve saved updates in each tab, head back to My Profile to see a consolidated view of your personal, contact, emergency, employment, and spouse details.
Edit Profile Again (If Needed) – If you spot anything you want to update further, click “Edit Profile” (or the respective tab) and revise.
