How to Navigate the ‘Podcast Playlists’ Page of the Streams and Media Module in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Streams and Media”.

  6. Click ‘Podcast’ under the Streams and Media menu.

  7. You’ll see tabs labeled “Categories,” “Albums,” “Playlists,” and “Episodes.” Click Playlists to open the playlist page.

  8. The page displays all existing playlists in a table, showing each Playlist Name, Description, Total Episodes, and an Actions menu.

Exploring the Playlist listing

  1. Search/Filter Bar:

    1. Use the text field to find playlists by name or description.

    2. Checkboxes and additional filters (if available) let you bulk‐select multiple playlists for mass actions.

  2. Playlist Rows:

    1. Each row shows the Playlist Name, Description, and Total Episodes.

    2. You’ll also see a small thumbnail (cover image) for quick identification.

  3. Actions Menu (on the right):

    1. View Playlist: This opens a detailed view showing all the episodes within that playlist.

    2. Edit Playlist: Allows you to change the playlist’s name, description, cover photo, or add/remove episodes.

    3. Delete: Permanently remove the playlist (but it doesn’t delete the episodes themselves).

  4. Add Playlist (top‐right button):

    1. Creates a brand‐new playlist. You can add a cover image, title, description, and select episodes to include.

  5. Pagination (bottom‐right):

    1. You can adjust the “Rows per page” to show more or fewer entries, then page forward or backward to view additional playlists.

Creating a New Podcast Playlist

  1. Click “Add Playlist”: Look for the button at the top‐right corner of the Playlist page.

  2. Fill Out the Form (see “Add Playlist” screenshot):

    1. Cover Image (optional): Drag/drop or browse for an image (max 10 MB).

    2. Playlist Name: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., “Salt & Light Devotionals”).

    3. Description: Summarize what the playlist is about.

    4. Add Episode: Search and select any episodes you want to include right away (you can add more later).

  3. Click Save to finalize. The new playlist appears in the list.

Viewing a Playlist and Its Episodes

  1. Find the Playlist: In the “Playlists” tab, locate the one you want.

  2. View Button: Click View (or select “View Playlist” from the Actions menu).

  3. Playlist Detail Page (see “View Playlist” screenshot):

    1. Cover Image & Info: Shows the playlist name, description, and number of episodes.

    2. Episode List: Displays each episode’s Name, Duration, and Date Published.

    3. Play All: Clicking “Play All” starts continuous playback.

Editing an Existing Playlist

  1. Open the Actions Menu: Next to the playlist, click the drop-down menu to access Edit Playlist.

  2. Edit Playlist Form (see “Edit Playlist” screenshot):

    1. Cover Photo: Change or remove the existing image.

    2. Playlist Name & Description: Update your text fields.

    3. Add/Remove Episodes: Type in the search field to find new episodes, or uncheck existing ones if you no longer need them.

  3. Save your changes.

Adding & Removing Episodes

  1. Add Episodes: In the Edit Playlist form (or sometimes in “View Playlist” if an Add button is present), search for existing episodes and click Add (or checkboxes).

  2. Remove Episodes: From the “View Playlist” page, locate the episode’s Actions menu (usually “View” → “Remove from Playlist”). Confirm removal in the pop‐up. The episode stays in your overall library, just not in this playlist.

Sharing the Playlist

  1. Share Icon: In “View Playlist,” look for a Share button (paper airplane or share symbol).

  2. Choose Platform: A pop‐up (“Share Playlist”) lets you share on Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.

  3. Copy Link: For emailing or embedding, copy the direct playlist link.

Deleting a Playlist

  1. Open the Playlist: Click View to see the playlist details.

  2. Delete: Near the bottom or in the Actions menu, select Delete Playlist (see “Delete Playlist” screenshot).

  1. Confirm: A pop‐up asks, “Are you sure you want to delete …?” Once confirmed, the playlist is permanently removed.

Note: Deleting a playlist does not delete the individual episodes.
