How to Navigate the ‘Podcast Episodes’ Page of the Streams and Media Module in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Streams and Media”.

  6. Click ‘Podcast’ under the Streams and Media menu.

  7. Along the top (Categories, Albums, Playlists, Episodes), click Episodes to view the full list of episodes (see the “Episodes” screenshot).

Episode Listing Overview

  1. Search & Filters: Use the top bar to filter by category, date, or keyword.

  2. Episode Table: Each row shows Episode Name, Description, Category, Duration, Date Published, and an Actions menu.

  3. Actions: Typically include View Details, Edit, Delete

Adding a New Episode

  1. Click “Add Episode” (top‐right corner):

    1. Opens the “Add Episode” form (see screenshot).

  2. Fill Out Episode Details:

    1. Episode Cover Photo: Upload an image to represent the episode.

    2. Episode Title: Give it a clear, descriptive name.

    3. Duration: Specify hours/minutes (HH:MM).

    4. Category: Select one or more categories (e.g., Sermons, Prayer).

    5. Date Published: Choose the release date/time.

    6. Audio File/Link: Upload an audio file or link to your hosted audio.

    7. Description: Provide a summary of the episode’s content.

    8. Speaker: Type to search existing speakers or add new ones.

  3. Click Save to create a new episode. It will appear in your Episode list.

Viewing an Episode

  1. Find the Episode in the list.

  2. View Details: Click the View button to open the episode’s detail pop‐up (see “View Episode” screenshot).

  1. Episode Info: Displays the cover image, duration, category, date published, description, and audio details.

  2. Additional Options:

    1. Edit: This takes you directly to the edit form.

    2. Delete: Permanently removes the episode after confirmation.

Editing an Episode

  1. Open the Edit Form:

    1. Either from the View pop‐up (click Edit) or from the Actions menu in the Episodes list (select Edit Episode).

  2. Update Fields:

    1. Change the title, duration, category, cover photo or audio file.

    2. Adjust the date published or description if needed.

  3. Click Save to apply your changes.

Deleting an Episode

  1. Choose Delete: From the Actions menu or the View pop‐up, select Delete

  2. Confirmation Dialog: A pop‐up will appear (see “Delete Podcast” screenshot) asking if you’re sure you want to remove the episode.

  3. Confirm: Click Yes, Delete. The episode is permanently removed from your library (this does not typically remove the original audio file if it’s hosted elsewhere, but it’s no longer listed in ChurchPad).
