How to Navigate the ‘Podcast Albums’ Page of the Streams and Media Module in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Streams and Media”.

  6. Click ‘Podcast’ under the Streams and Media menu.

  7. Once in the Podcast area, you’ll see multiple tabs (e.g., Categories, Albums, Playlists, Episodes). Click Albums.

  8. You’ll be taken to a page listing all existing albums. Each album row typically shows its Name, Description, Speaker, Total Episodes, and Actions menu.

Creating a New Album

  1. Add Album: Look for a button labeled “Add Album” near the top‐right corner.

  2. Fill Out the Form (see “Add Album” screenshot):

    1. Cover Photo (optional): Drag/drop or browse for an image file.

    2. Album Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Bible History”).

    3. Description: Provide a short overview or summary of the album.

    4. Frequency (optional): If relevant, select how often episodes are released (e.g., “Once,” “Weekly”).

    5. Speaker: Type to find existing speakers or create new ones on the fly. You can add multiple speakers if needed.

    6. Add Episode: Optionally, select episodes from your library to include in the album right away.

  3. Save: Click Save to confirm. Your new album will now appear on the list.

Viewing an Album and Its Episodes

  1. Find the Album: In the Albums list, locate the one you want to open.

  2. Click “View”: This loads an Album View page or pop‐up (see “View Album” screenshot).

    1. Album Details: Shows the cover photo, album name, description, speaker(s), etc.

    2. Episode List: Displays all episodes currently in the album, including Episode Name, Duration, and Date Published.

    3. Play All: This may appear as a button that sequentially plays all episodes in the album.

Editing Album Details

  1. Open the Album: Go to the album you want to modify.

  2. Edit Button: Look for an Edit icon or use the Actions → Edit option.

  3. Edit Album Form (see “Edit Album” screenshot):

    1. Cover Photo: Replace or remove the existing image.

    2. Album Name & Description: Update the title or summary text.

    3. Speaker: Add/remove speakers.

    4. Add/Remove Episodes: If provided, you can search for new episodes to add or uncheck existing ones.

    5. Frequency: Change how often new episodes are expected, if relevant.

  4. Save your changes.

Adding Episodes

  1. From Edit Album: In the Add Episode field, type keywords to find episodes from your media library. Check the boxes next to the ones you want. Then Save.

Removing an Episode

  1. From Album View: Next to each episode, open the Actions menu (often labeled “View” or a three‐dot icon), then select Remove from Album (see “Remove Episode” screenshot).

  2. Confirmation: A pop‐up will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to remove this episode?” Confirm to detach the episode from the album (the episode remains in your main library).

Sharing an Album

  1. Open the Album: In the Albums tab, click View on the desired album.

  2. Share Icon: Look for a Share button (paper airplane, three‐dot menu, or share icon).

  3. Select Platform: A pop‐up (see “Share Album” screenshot) will display popular channels (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  4. Copy Link: You can also copy a direct URL to embed on your site or share via email.

Deleting an Album

  1. Open the Album: Locate it in the list, then click View.

  2. Delete Album: In the album’s details panel or Actions menu, choose Delete Album (see “Delete Album” screenshot).

  3. Confirmation: A pop‐up will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to delete this album?” Once confirmed, the album is removed permanently.

Note: Deleting an album will not necessarily delete the episodes themselves—it only removes the grouping. Always confirm how your system handles episodes upon album deletion.
