How to Navigate the ‘Live Stream’ Page of the Streams and Media Module in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Streams and Media”.

  6. Click ‘Livestream’. The system will immediately load the Livestream page as the default view, presenting your current live video content.


Once you’re on the Livestream page, you can explore additional tabs or sections, such as Streams (for past videos) and Settings (for embedding Channel ID, etc). However, the platform always defaults to Livestream first whenever you enter this sub-menu.


Accessing the Streams Tab

  1. Click the Streams tab at the top of the page (next to Livestreams and Settings).


Layout & Main Table

In the Streams tab, you’ll see a table listing your videos with columns like:

  1. Media (Thumbnail)

    1. A small preview image of the video.

    2. Some entries may display an icon (“Featured”) indicating special status.

  2. Title & Description

    1. The name of the video (e.g., “Sunday Sermon: Finding Hope”).

    2. A short teaser or summary of the content.

  3. Views & Comments

    1. Displays how many times the video was viewed and how many comments it has.

  4. Likes vs Dislikes

    1. Shows engagement metrics, such as “76.0% – 37 likes” (indicating 76% likes vs 24% dislikes).

  5. Start Date

    1. The date the video was published or streamed.

  6. Actions

    1. A button or dropdown labeled Play or More offering additional options (View on YouTube, Add to Playlist, etc.).


Searching & Filtering

  1. Search Bar (“Type to search…”):

    1. Enter keywords (e.g., part of a title or a speaker’s name) to instantly filter the table.

  2. Checkboxes:

    1. Each row has a checkbox on the left, allowing you to select multiple videos for bulk actions (e.g., delete).


Actions Menu

Next to each video is an Actions dropdown (sometimes labeled “Play” or “⋮ More”). Common options include:

  1. View on YouTube - Opens the video’s public or unlisted YouTube link in a new tab.

  2. Add to Playlist - Places the selected video in an existing playlist or lets you create a new one.

  3. Add as Media - Add the Video in the Media Section of the Module.

  4. Share - Opens a Share With panel to post on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, X, WhatsApp, etc.) or to copy a share link.

Tip: “Play” or “View on YouTube” is the quickest way to watch or check the video’s content.


Adding as Media


Organizing Playlists

  1. Add to Playlist (from the Actions menu):

  2. Search for an existing playlist, or type a new name in the “Create a new Playlist” field.

  3. Click Add Playlist or Save Changes to finalize.

  4. Multiple Playlists:

  5. One video can appear in more than one playlist (e.g., “Sunday Sermons” and “Special Events”).
