How to Navigate the ‘Listing’ Page of the Contribution Module in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left-hand sidebar, click Contributions to expand its menu.
Select Listings to open the main contribution listing page.

Layout Overview
Once on the Contribution Listing Page, you’ll typically see:
Search Bar – At the top, to quickly find contributions by name, email, or transaction ID.
Add Contribution (Dropdown) – Usually near the top-right.
Add Contribution – Manually enter a single new donation.
Import – Allows you to import multiple donations at once via a CSV upload.
Download (Dropdown) – Also near the top-right.
Download Current – Exports only the contributions currently displayed (after any filtering or searching).
Download All – Exports every contribution in your system, regardless of filters.
Table of Contributions – With checkboxes, columns (User, Amount, Date, Category, etc.), and an Actions button/dropdown.
Searching & Filtering
Search Bar (“Type to Search…”): Enter partial names, emails, or transaction IDs. The results update dynamically.
Filters: Narrow your view based on the applied attributes. [ Amount, Recurring, Date Range, Contribution Source, Contribution Type].
Column Sorting: Click column headers like “Amount” or “Date” to sort ascending/descending.
Adding a New Contribution (Dropdown)
Click the Add Contribution button at the top right. A dropdown appears with import options:
Add Contribution – Opens a side panel or modal to enter a single donation:
User: Search for an existing user or create a new one.
Amount: Enter the donation amount.
Fund/Category: Tithe, Offering, Missions, etc.
Payment Source/Mode: E.g., Cash, Check, Card, PayPal.
Date & Transaction ID (optional): For reference and record-keeping.
Memo (optional): Additional notes.
Import – Takes you to the import wizard (see Import Section below).
After choosing Add Contribution, click Save Contribution or Submit to finalize.

Importing Contributions
From the Add Contribution dropdown, select Import.
Step 1 – Upload File: Browse to or drag and drop your CSV.

Step 2 – Map Fields: Match your CSV columns (Name, Email, Amount, etc.) to the correct ChurchPad fields.

Step 3 – Preview & Confirm: Quickly review how your data aligns.

Finish: Complete the import to add the new records to your listing.
Verify Entries: Once the import is done, check a few entries in the main list to ensure correctness.
Downloading & Exporting (Dropdown)
Near the top-right, click the Download button.
A dropdown appears:
Download Current – Exports the contributions currently displayed on the page (based on any filters or searches).
Download All – Exports all contributions in the system, regardless of filters.
Select your preferred option.
Depending on your ChurchPad configuration, a CSV (or other file format) will download.
Tip: “Download Current” is particularly handy if you only need contributions from a certain date range, status, or user search.
Viewing & Managing Contributions
Contribution Table: Each row typically shows the User, Amount, Date, Category, Mode, Transaction ID, Status, and an Actions button/dropdown.

Detailed View: To see more about a single contribution, click Actions → Details

a. Check / View Payment Source details (Card last 4 digits, expiration, etc.)

b. Void (if your permissions and organization policies allow).
Void Transaction:
From Actions, select Void or Void Transaction.
Confirm this step, as it’s often irreversible.
