Expiring Cards

How to Navigate the ‘Expiring Cards’ Page of the Contribution Module in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Contribution”.

  6. Click ‘Expiring Cards’ under the Contribution menu to access the page that lists members whose payment cards are about to expire.


Understanding the Expiring Cards List

On the Expiring Cards page, you’ll see a table listing members’ details for any cards that are near or past their expiration date. The typical columns include:

  1. Member -Displays the member’s name and email address.

  2. Phone -Shows the member’s phone number.

  3. Last 4 Digits -The last four digits of the member’s saved payment card.

  4. Type - The card brand (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).

  5. Expiration- The card’s expiration month and year (MM/YY).

  6. Actions - A Delete button or other dropdown options to manage or remove stored cards.


Filtering by Expiration Month and Year

At the top-right corner (or above the table), you may see a dropdown labeled Expiring Cards Months and Year.

  1. Select a month and year from the dropdown to filter cards that will expire in that specific timeframe.

  2. This helps you quickly identify which members need a reminder to update their payment details.


Searching for a Specific Member

  1. At the top of the table, you’ll see a search bar labeled “Type to search ...”

  2. Enter the member’s name, email address, or other identifying information.

  3. The list will automatically update to show only matching records.


Managing Expiring Cards

  1. Review the list to see which members have cards that will soon expire.

  2. To remove a card from the system, click Delete (or open the dropdown in the Actions column and select Delete).

    1. The system may prompt you to confirm this action.

  3. Notify or follow up with members whose cards are about to expire if an update is required. Some organizations send automated reminders or personal messages to ensure uninterrupted giving.
