How to Navigate the ‘Schedule Push Notification’ Page in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin."

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on Communication.

  6. Under the Communication menu, select the ‘Push Notification’ option.


Overview of the Push Notification Page

The Push Notification page is divided into two main tabs:

  1. History Tab: Displays all previously sent push notifications with details such as transaction ID, credits used, total recipients, valid recipients, invalid recipients, and sending status.

  2. Scheduled Tab: This shows all upcoming push notifications that are set to be sent at a future date/time. Here, you can edit or delete scheduled messages as needed.


Managing Scheduled Push Notifications

Access the Scheduled Tab

  1. Switch to the Scheduled Tab to view upcoming push notifications. The table includes:

    1. Setup Date: When the notification schedule was created.

    2. Send On: The scheduled send date/time.

    3. Recipients: Number of recipients targeted.

    4. Credit Used: Estimated or allocated credits for that notification.

    5. Status: Typically shows “Scheduled” until it’s sent.

    6. Actions: Options to manage or modify the scheduled notification.


View Scheduled PN Details

  1. Click View to see detailed information about the scheduled notification.


Edit Sending Details

  1. Under Actions, select Edit Sending Times.

  2. Select Sending Type: Sending Now or Send Later

  3. Adjust the date/time from the calendar/time picker.

  4. Click Update to save your changes.


Cancel or Delete Scheduled Notifications

  1. Under Actions, you may see Cancel Schedule (if available) or Delete.

    1. Cancel Schedule: Halts the notification from sending but keeps the record for reference.

b. Delete: Permanently removes the scheduled notification.

c. Confirm your choice in the pop-up prompt. Note that this action can’t be undone.
