How to Navigate the ‘Push Notification History’ Page in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin."
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on Communication.
Click Push Notifications to open the main Push Notifications interface.
Overview of the Push Notification Page
The Push Notification page is divided into two main tabs:
History Tab: Displays all previously sent push notifications with details such as transaction ID, credits used, total recipients, valid recipients, invalid recipients, and sending status.
Scheduled Tab: This shows all upcoming push notifications that are set to be sent at a future date/time. Here, you can edit or delete scheduled messages as needed.

Viewing Push Notification History
History Tab: By default, you’ll see the most recent push notifications sent. The table includes:
Transaction ID
Credit: The credits are used for the notification.
Total: Total recipients.
Valid: Number of valid recipients.
Invalid: Number of invalid recipients.
Date: When the push notification was sent.
Actions: Options for more details.
Filtering Notifications:
Use the Start Date and End Date fields to narrow down records by date.
Click Run Query to apply your filter.

Downloading Records:
Click the Download button in the top-right corner to export your notification records.
You can Download Excel or Download CSV based on your preferred format.

View Details:
Click View under the Actions column to see more in-depth information about the notification, including the receiver’s name/ID, status (success or failed), and timestamp.

Sending a New Push Notification
Click the Send New Push Notification button at the top-right corner of the page.
Set Up the Message:
Groups: Choose which group(s) to send the notification to (e.g., Department/Service Unit Groups).
Church App Target Page: If your push notification should link to a specific page within your church app, select it here.
Message: Type the content of your notification.
Message Type: Select either Standard Message or Personalize Message.
Schedule:
Send Now to dispatch immediately.
Send Later to pick a future date/time.
Select Recipients:
Existing Group: Choose from pre-existing contact groups in your system.
Church Database: Search for and select recipients directly from the church database.
Manual Entry: Manually enter recipient phone numbers, separated by commas.
View Summary & Send:
Click View Summary to review details: valid recipients, invalid recipients, total credits, etc.
Click Send Message to finalize and dispatch your push notification.
