Celebration Walls
How to Navigate the ‘Celebration Walls’ Settings Page in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on Settings.
Under the Settings menu, select the ‘Celebration Walls’ option. The main content area will load the Celebration Wall Settings—where you can configure Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, and Children’s Birthday celebrations.
Overview of Celebration Types
On the Celebration Wall Settings page, you’ll notice three distinct sections, each with nearly identical controls:
Birthday Celebration
Wedding Anniversary Celebration
Children’s Birthday Celebration
Each section allows you to:
Upload/change a Banner (visual image).
Upload/change Audio (celebration music or sound bite).
Set Celebration Duration Time (how many seconds each celebrant’s slide is displayed).
Filter Which Celebrants Appear (all celebrants vs. only those with pictures).
Toggle On/Off (enable or disable that celebration category).
Below, we’ll dive deep into each control and explain exactly how to use it.

A. Configuring Birthday Celebrations
Uploading or Changing the Banner
In the Birthday Celebration section, locate “Birthday Celebration Banner.” You’ll see:
A thumbnail preview of the current banner image (if one is already uploaded).
Three links on the right:
View – To view the current banner in full size.
Change Banner – To upload a new image file.
Back To Default – To reset to ChurchPad’s default birthday banner.
To upload a new banner:
Click Change Banner.
A file-picker dialog appears. Navigate to the image on your computer (e.g., PNG or JPEG).
Recommended Dimensions: 1200 × 400 pixels (or a similar wide-format aspect ratio).
Maximum File Size: 2 MB (to ensure fast loading).
Select the image and click Open.
Once the upload finishes, you’ll see the new thumbnail preview.
To preview the banner before it goes live, click View. A lightbox or new browser tab will display the full-resolution image.
If you decide you don’t like your custom image, click Back To Default. This restores ChurchPad’s built-in default banner.
Adding or Changing Celebration Audio
Under the Birthday Celebration Audio label, you’ll see an audio waveform icon with:
A Play button (▶) to preview the current audio file.
Change the Audio link to upload or replace.
Back To Default link to revert to ChurchPad’s default birthday jingle (if available).
To preview the existing audio, click the Play button. The waveform will animate and play through your browser’s audio output.
To upload a new audio track:
Click Change Audio.
A file-picker dialog appears. Choose an audio file from your computer (MP3 or WAV is recommended).
Recommended Length: 10 – 20 seconds (short, loopable snippet).
Maximum File Size: 5 MB.
Select your file and click Open. ChurchPad will process and store your new jingle.
After the upload succeeds, you can click Play again to confirm it’s the correct audio.
If you prefer the built-in default sound, click Back To Default.
Setting Celebration Duration
Find the “Set Celebration Duration Time” dropdown. By default, it might say 4 Seconds. This controls how many seconds each individual birthday slide stays on screen before rotating to the next celebrant.
Click the dropdown to reveal the available timing options (e.g., 2 Secs, 4 Secs, 6 Secs, 8 Secs, 10 Secs).
Select your desired duration (for instance, 6 Seconds).
Immediately after choosing, click the Save button to apply this change.
When saved, you’ll see a small confirmation message (e.g., “Birthday celebration duration updated”).
Filtering Which Celebrants Appear
Locate “Determine The Celebrants To Display.” Two radio options appear:
Show all celebrants – Every birthday (regardless of whether a member has a profile photo) will display on the wall.
Show only celebrants with pictures – Only birthdays of members whose profiles include a photo will display.
Click the radio button next to your preferred choice. The system applies this filter immediately—no additional Save button is required.
Use Case: If your pastor prefers to feature only those with profile photos (to avoid blank slides), choose “Show only celebrants with pictures.” If you want to honor everyone’s birthday, choose “Show all celebrants.”
Disabling or Enabling Birthday Celebrations
Scroll down to find “Disable This Celebration.”
There’s a toggle switch (blue when ON, gray when OFF).
If toggled ON (blue): Birthday celebrations are shown on the Celebration Wall as configured.
If toggled OFF (gray): Birthday slides will not display at all.
To turn off birthday celebrations temporarily (e.g., during Lent or a special church-wide event), click the toggle so it slides to the OFF position.
To re-enable, simply click the toggle again so it moves back to ON.
B. Configuring Wedding Anniversary Celebrations
The Wedding Anniversary section works exactly like the Birthday section. All headings, controls, and steps are identical, except they apply to anniversary celebrants (couples), not individual birthdays. Below is a quick walkthrough:
Uploading or Changing the Wedding Anniversary Banner
In the Wedding Anniversary Celebration, find “Wedding Anniversary Banner.”
Click Change Banner to pick a new image.
Recommended: a romantic or wedding-themed graphic (e.g., rings, doves, flowers).
Click View to preview the current banner.
Click Back To Default to return to the system’s default anniversary banner if needed.
Adding or Changing Wedding Anniversary Celebration Audio
Under “Wedding Anniversary Audio,” click Play to preview any existing jingle.
Click Change Audio to upload a new track (e.g., a short instrumental love song or congratulatory melody).
Click Back To Default to restore the default anniversary jingle.
Setting the Wedding Anniversary Celebration Duration
Use the “Set Celebration Duration Time” dropdown to select how many seconds each anniversary slide remains on-screen (e.g., 4 Seconds).
Click Save to confirm.
Filtering Which Celebrants Appear
Under “Determine The Celebrants To Display,” choose between:
Show all celebrants (display every anniversary, even if the couple hasn’t uploaded a photo).
Show only celebrants with pictures (display only anniversary slides for couples with profile images).
Click the radio button for the option you want. No additional click is required—the filter is applied instantly.
Disabling or Enabling Wedding Anniversary Celebrations
Find “Disable This Celebration.”
Slide the toggle to OFF (gray) to temporarily hide all anniversary slides.
Slide back to ON (blue) to show them again.
C. Configuring Children’s Birthday Celebrations
Children’s Birthday Celebrations function just like the Birthday and Wedding sections. Follow these steps to personalize how your congregation honors its youngest members:
Uploading or Changing the Children’s Birthday Banner
In the Children's Birthday Celebration area, you’ll see “Children's Birthday Banner.”
To upload a child-friendly or playful graphic (e.g., balloons, cartoons), click Change Banner.
Recommended Dimensions: 1200 × 400 pixels.
Use View to preview the image; click Back To Default to revert to the standard Children’s Birthday banner.
Adding or Changing Children’s Birthday Celebration Audio
Under “Children's Birthday Audio,” click Play to hear the current tune.
Click Change Audio to upload a new file (e.g., a fun, upbeat children’s melody).
Recommended Format: MP3 or WAV; length under 15 seconds.
Click Back To Default to restore the system’s default children’s birthday jingle.
Setting Celebration Duration
Select the desired display time from the “Set Celebration Duration Time” dropdown (e.g., 4 Seconds).
Click Save to confirm.
Filtering Which Celebrants Appear
Choose between:
Show all celebrants (display every child’s birthday, even if they don’t have a profile picture).
Show only celebrants with pictures (only display birthdays for children whose profiles include a photo).
Click the appropriate radio button. The filter takes effect immediately.
Disabling or Enabling Children’s Birthday Celebrations
Locate “Disable This Celebration.”
Slide the toggle to OFF (gray) to hide all Children’s Birthday slides.
