How to Navigate the ‘Media Playlist’ Page of the Streams and Media Module in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on “Streams and Media”.
In the sub‐menu that appears, click Media.
At the top of the main Media page, you’ll see multiple tabs (e.g., “All Media,” “Playlists,” “Speakers,” etc.). Click Playlists to open the Playlists section.

Playlist Layout Options
Grid View: This view displays your playlists with thumbnail previews and titles in a grid format. It is great for quickly scanning multiple playlists at a glance.
List View: Alternatively, you may be able to see playlists in a list format. This view typically shows a table with extra columns (such as description and the number of media items).
Check for Cube and list icons (at top‐right) that allow switching between Grid and List views.

Creating a New Playlist
Click “Add Playlist”: Look for a button labeled Add Playlist near the top‐right corner (or in the center of the page if no playlists exist yet).
Fill Out the Form:
Name: Enter a descriptive title (e.g., “Youth Conference Sermons” or “Marriage Series”).
Description: Optionally, add a short summary of what this playlist contains.
Upload Image (Thumbnail): You can drag/drop or browse for an image file to represent the playlist.
Save: Click Create Playlist to confirm. The new playlist will appear in your playlist list.

Viewing and Managing a Playlist
A. View Playlist Details
Select a Playlist: Click on the playlist name or View button.
Playlist Overview: You’ll see a dedicated page (see “View Playlist” screenshot) listing all the media items currently in the playlist, along with their thumbnails, titles, and potential speaker info.
B. Play All
On the Playlist Details page, there may be a Play All button (as shown in the “Play All Playlist” screenshot).
Clicking Play All will automatically queue the videos or audio tracks (in order) for continuous playback.

Adding Media to a Playlist
Click on the playlist you want to add content to.
Look for a button labeled + icon within that playlist view
A pop‐up or side panel will appear, allowing you to:
Search for existing media by title, speaker, or date.
Check the box and click the “Add Selected” button to include that media in your playlist.

Click Confirm. The chosen media items will now be part of the playlist.

Editing a Playlist
Locate the Playlist: On the Playlists page (Grid or List view), find the one you wish to edit.
Actions / Edit: Click an Actions drop-down menu then select the Edit option
Edit Playlist Form:
Title and Description: Update the playlist name or summary.
Thumbnail: Drag/drop or upload a new image.
Reorder/Remove Media: If the form allows, you can reorder items by dragging them or removing items you no longer want in the playlist.
Click Edit Playlist to Confirm your changes. The playlist details will be updated accordingly.

Additional Playlist Actions
From the Actions menu or directly from icons/buttons on each playlist, you might find:
Share Playlist
This opens a sharing menu (see “Share Playlist” screenshot) that provides links or icons for sharing on social media (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, etc.)
You can also copy the direct playlist link to embed on your site or send it via email.

Delete Playlist
This typically prompts a confirmation pop‐up (see “Delete Playlist” screenshot).
Once confirmed, the playlist and all associated data (like media arrangement) are permanently removed (the media files themselves remain in your library).

Episode (Media Item) Actions in a Playlist
Inside the playlist, you’ll see a list of the media items included. To the right (or next to each episode), there’s usually a menu icon (three dots). Click that to reveal the following options:
Share
Opens a pop‐up with sharing options for social media and a direct link.
You can quickly post a single episode (item) to platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, etc.
Move Up / Move Down
Adjusts the order of the episodes.
“Move Up” places the episode earlier in the sequence, while “Move Down” moves it later.
This reordering affects the playback sequence (if your playlist supports continuous play).
Remove from Playlist
Detaches the episode from this playlist but does not delete the episode from your media library.
Useful if you no longer want the item in the current playlist lineup.
