How to Navigate the ‘Prayer Request Settings’ Page in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on “Prayer Requests”.
Under the Prayer Requests menu, select the ‘Settings’ option.

Configuring Prayer Permissions
Locate "Prayer Permission".
Toggle the switch ON (blue) if you require administrative approval before prayer requests become visible.
Toggle it OFF (grey) if you allow immediate posting of prayer requests without approval.
Managing Users
Under "Users", you can specify who receives notifications about new prayer request submissions.
Click inside the input field to select or search for existing users. You can add up to 5 users.
After adding or removing users, click "Save" to apply changes.
Push Notification Settings
Navigate to "Push Notification".
Toggle ON to send instant push notifications to members whenever a new prayer request is posted.
Toggle OFF if you prefer not to send push notifications.
Customizing Push Subject
Under "Push Subject", you can customize the subject line for the push notification.
Click on "Edit", make necessary changes, and click "Save".
Available dynamic variables include:
{TITLE}, {FIRSTNAME}, {FIRSTNAMEINITIAL}, {LASTNAME}, {LASTNAMEINITIAL}, {ORGANIZATIONNAME}
Example:
{FIRSTNAME} {LASTNAMEINITIAL} just posted a prayer request on the Prayer Wall.
Customizing Push Message
Scroll to "Push Message".
Customize the notification message sent to users when a new prayer request is posted.
Click on "Edit", make changes, and click "Save".
Example:
It's time to pray. {FIRSTNAME} {LASTNAMEINITIAL} just posted a prayer request. Click on this message
