How to Navigate the ‘Prayer Requests’ Listing Page in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on “Prayer Requests”.

  6. Under the Prayer Requests menu, select the ‘Listing’ option.


Understanding the Listings Page

The page shows a detailed table of all prayer requests submitted by members, displaying the following columns:

  1. User: Name and email of the member who submitted the request.

  2. Category: Indicates the prayer category (e.g., Career, Finances, Family).

  3. Text: Preview text of the prayer request.

  4. Image/Video: Thumbnail previews of attached media (if any).

  5. Likes: The number of likes the prayer request has received.

  6. Date: Submission date of the prayer request.

  7. Status: Current status of the request (e.g., Posted, New, Archived, Disapproved).

  8. Actions: View details or manage the request.


Searching and Filtering

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the table to quickly find specific prayer requests by user name, category, or text.

  2. Filter results based on specific criteria like status or date to narrow down displayed prayer requests.


View Request Details

  1. Click View under the Actions column to see the complete details of a prayer request, including full text, images, videos, likes, and approval status.


Approve Prayer Request

  1. Click the dropdown button (▼) next to View in the Actions column.

  2. Select Approve.

  3. A confirmation modal appears: Click Approve Request to confirm.


Disapprove Prayer Request

  1. Click the dropdown button (▼) next to View.

  2. Select Disapprove.

  3. A confirmation modal appears: Click Disapprove Request to finalize.


Archive Prayer Request

  1. Click the dropdown button (▼) next to View.

  2. Select Archive to move the request to the archives.


Delete Prayer Request

  1. Within the View Details modal, select the Delete option.

  2. Confirm by clicking Delete Request in the confirmation prompt. Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
