How to Navigate the ‘Testimony Settings’ Page in the Admin Portal

  1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

  2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

  4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

  5. From the left sidebar menu, click on Testimonies.

  6. Under the Testimonies menu, select the ‘Settings’ option.

Available Settings and Configurations

1. Testimony Permission- Toggle this on or off to set whether testimonies require permission before being shown on the Testimony Wall.

  • Enabled: Admin approval required.

  • Disabled: Testimonies appear immediately.

2. Testimony Approval - Enable to automatically approve all testimony submissions without manual review.

3. Email Addresses

  • Enter up to 5 email addresses to receive notifications for new testimony submissions.

  • Separate each email with a comma.

  • Ensure the entered emails follow a valid format (e.g., [email protected]).

4. Push Notifications- Enable this to automatically notify all members via push notification whenever a new testimony is posted on the Testimony Wall.

5. Activate Share Story - Toggle this setting on to allow users to share their testimonies to the story section.

6. Activate Share To Other Contacts -Allows members to share viewed testimonies with other contacts.

7. Push Subject - Customize the subject line for push notifications sent to members when new testimonies are added.

  • Variables available:

  • {TITLE}

  • {FIRSTNAME}

  • {FIRSTNAMEINITIAL}

  • {LASTNAME}

  • {LASTNAMEINITIAL}

  • {ORGANIZATIONNAME}

Example: {FIRSTNAME} {LASTNAMEINITIAL} just posted a testimony on the Testimony Wall.

8. Push Message

  • Customize the body content of the push notification sent to members.

  • Maximum length: 170 characters.

  • Variables available (same as above).

Example: It's testimony time! {FIRSTNAME} {LASTNAMEINITIAL} just posted a testimony. Click on this message to view it. Thank you.

9. Allow Story Duration - Select the duration for how long a user's shared story remains visible (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours, etc.).

Saving Your Settings:

After making any adjustments, click Save next to the modified setting to apply changes.
