How to Navigate the Testimonies ‘Categories’ Page in the Admin Portal

1. Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.

2. Click your Profile Icon at the top right.

3. From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"

4. You are now in the Admin Portal.

5. From the left sidebar menu, click on Testimonies.

6. Under the Testimonies menu, select the ‘Categories’ option.

Viewing Categories

You'll see a list of existing categories displaying:

1. Name: The category's title.

2. Items: Number of testimonies in each category.

3. Created By: Person who created the category.

4. Created Date: Date of creation.

To quickly find a category, use the search bar at the top of the page.

Adding a New Category

1. Click the + Add Category button at the top-right corner.

2. Enter the name for your new category in the provided field.

3. Click Save Category to confirm.

Viewing Category Details

1. Click on View Details beside any category.

2. A modal will display with detailed information:

   1. Name of the category

   2. Number of items (testimonies) it contains

   3. Date of creation

3. To remove the category, click Delete at the bottom of this modal.

Deleting a Category

1. Click Delete in the Category Details modal.

2. Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete again when prompted. This action is irreversible, so proceed with caution.

Note: If a category is currently in use, you will see an error message: "You cannot delete a category that is still in use." To delete this category, you must first ensure there are no testimonies associated with it.
