How to Navigate the ‘ALL TEENAGERS’ Page of the Teenager’s Module in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on “Teenagers”.
Under the Teenagers menu, select the ‘All Teenagers’ option. You will now see the full list of teenagers in your database, typically displaying each teen’s name, guardians, gender, age, food allergies, and class category.

Exploring the Teenager’s Listing
Teen’s Name: Clickable if you want to view more details or open a separate “Details” menu.
Guardians: Shows the parent(s) or guardian(s) linked to the child (e.g., “Lucy & Scott,” “Martin Baptista”).
Gender/Age: Basic demographic info.
Food Allergies: Quickly see if the child has any dietary restrictions.
Class Category: The age group/classroom assignment (e.g., “6–7 Years,” “Young Gideons”).
Actions: A button or drop-down menu (often labeled Details) with options like:
View Details: Opens the teen’s profile page (with tabs for Teenagers, Attendance, and Notes).
Edit Details: Opens a side panel to modify the teen’s personal information, guardian details, or allergies.
Send Message: This allows you to send a direct message or bulk message (if multiple children are selected).
Delete Child: Permanently removes the child from the module.
Search & Filters
Use the Type to search… bar at the top to filter by teenager’s name, guardian’s name, or other keywords.

Adding a New Teenager
Click the Add New or Add Teenager button (found at the top-right corner).
An Add Teenager panel or modal will appear, usually with fields like:
Parents / Guardians: Search for existing contacts (e.g., “Ben Charles,” “Kevin Albanese”), or create a new guardian in the People Module if needed.
First Name, Middle Name, Last Name
Class Category (e.g., “6–7 Years”)
Gender (Male, Female, etc.)
Date of Birth
Teen’s Allergies
School Name (optional)
Banner Image or Profile Photo (optional)
Fill out the required fields (e.g., First Name, Date of Birth).
Click Add Teenager to complete the process. The new child will now appear in the list.

Viewing a Teenager’s Details
From the Teenagers’ listing, locate the child you want to view.
Click Details (or the teenager’s name) to open the View Details option.
You’ll be taken to the teen’s profile page, which typically has multiple tabs:
Teenager: Shows basic information (name, DOB, allergies, etc.)
Attendance: Displays the teen’s check-in/check-out history for events.
Notes: A space for staff to record important notes or observations.

The Teenager’s Tab
This tab contains the basic personal information of the teenager, including:
Profile Image & Banner: The teen’s photo or a banner image.
Teenagers’ Information:
First, Middle, Last Name
Gender and Date of Birth
Class Category (e.g., age-based groups like “16–17 Years”)
School Name (optional)
Allergies (e.g., Fish, Meat, Peanut)
Parent/Guardian Information:
Displays one or two guardians linked to the teenager, along with each guardian’s name and phone number.
Click the (⋯) icon or Edit button to update guardian details.

The Attendance Tab
This tab displays the check-in/check-out history for the selected teen. Typical columns include:
Check-In Date: The date and time the teen was checked in.
Check-In By: The person (or system user) who performed the check-in.
Check-In Source: Where the check-in happened (e.g., App, Web, Kiosk).
Checkout By: The person (or system user) who performed the check-out.
Checkout Source: Where the checkout happened (e.g., App, Web).
Checkout Date: The date and time the teen was checked out.
Searching
Use the Type to search… bar at the top of the table to filter by date, name, or partial text in any column.

The Notes Tab
This tab is where you or other authorized team members can record notes about the teenager, attach files, and track any relevant commentary. It typically displays:

Subject: A short title for the note (e.g., “Parent Meeting,” “Behavior Update”).
Message: The main text or body of the note.
Created By: The staff member or volunteer who authored the note.
Date: When the note was created or last updated.
Actions:
Details (or “View”): Opens the full note, sometimes revealing attached files and further comment threads.

b. Edit Note: This allows you to change the subject/message or replace attachments.

c. Delete: Removes the note entirely.

Adding a New Note
Click Add Note (usually top-right in the Notes tab).
A New Note panel appears:
Subject: Enter a brief title.
Message: Provide the main content.
Attach Files (optional): Drag and drop or browse to select image/document/audio/video files.
Supported formats may include png, jpg, jpeg, xlsx, xls, doc, txt, docx, ppt, pptx, pdf, etc.
Click Add Note to finalize.

Adding or Editing a Comment
Depending on your ChurchPad configuration, each note may allow comments as a thread beneath the main note:
Select Add Comment (often at the bottom of the note).
Type your message.
(Optional) Upload files by dragging them into the Upload files area or using the Select File button.
Click Add Comment to save it.

To edit or delete a comment, look for the Edit or Delete option next to that comment.

Editing a Teenager’s Information
Next to the teen’s name in the listing, click the Details button (or drop-down) and select Edit Details.
An Edit Teenager panel appears:
Update Guardian relationships (e.g., add or remove a second guardian).
Change the child’s name, class category, or allergies.
Adjust other personal details as needed.
Click Save to confirm changes.

Deleting a Teenager
Note: Deleting a teenager is permanent. Ensure that you want to remove this record.
In the Actions drop-down beside the teen’s name, select Delete Teenager.
A confirmation dialog appears, stating: “Are you sure you want to delete this teenager? This action cannot be undone.”
Click Delete Teenager to confirm, or Go Back if you decide not to proceed.

Sending Messages & Bulk Actions
Click Send Message to open the Send Message to Parents panel.
A dialog or panel may open, allowing you to compose an email, SMS, MMS, or push notification, depending on your ChurchPad plan.

Exporting/Downloading Lists
Look for a Download button to export the teenager’s list in Excel, PDF, or Word format.
Choose the columns or fields you wish to include (e.g., Guardian, Age, Allergies, etc.) for a customized report.
