Top Summary Cards

At the top of the Overview page, you’ll see four key metrics:

  1. Total: The total number of people in your database.

  2. Male: The total count identified as male.

  3. Female: The total count identified as female.

  4. Not Set (or “Others”): The count of people who haven’t specified a gender.

Each card may show a percentage or arrow indicating an increase/decrease compared to a previous period (e.g., last month ).

Demographics by Percentage

Below the top cards, you’ll typically find pie charts showing different demographic splits, for example:

  1. Gender Distribution: Male, Female, Not Set

  2. Marital Status: Single, Married, Unknown

You can often change the year (e.g., 2024) using a dropdown in the top-right corner of each chart, letting you view historical data.

Membership Type Distribution

A pie chart (or donut chart) typically shows how many people fall under each Membership Type (e.g., Member, Guest, Global, etc.).

  1. Hover over or click a slice in the chart to see exact percentages or counts.

  2. This helps you see which membership categories are most common.

Demographics by Employment

Another pie chart may highlight:

  1. Employed vs. Unemployed counts/percentages

  2. Potentially additional subcategories, if configured (e.g., “Self-Employed” or “Student”).

Demographics by Age Group

You’ll see a bar chart reflecting how members are distributed across age brackets (e.g., 0–4, 5–9, 10–14, all the way up to 80–84).

  1. Each bar’s height indicates how many people fall into that bracket.

  2. This helps you see which age ranges make up the bulk of your congregation.

Demographics by Number of Children

A second bar chart might show:

  1. Groupings like 0–2 children, 2–4, 4–6, etc.

  2. Each bar may be color-coded by Male, Female, or Not Set for the adult’s gender.

  3. This statistic can help with planning for children’s ministries or family outreach.

Demographics by Birthday

Another bar chart breaks down birthdays by month:

  1. Each bar typically shows the total count of birthdays in that month.

  2. A portion of the bar may be color-coded by gender.

  3. Use this information for planning birthday outreach (e.g., “We have 200 birthdays in June!”).

Demographics by Wedding Anniversaries

Similarly, you might see a bar chart for anniversaries across all 12 months:

  1. Each bar shows how many members have a wedding anniversary in that month.

  2. This makes it easy to prepare automated greetings or special anniversary events.
