Classrooms
How to Navigate the ‘Classrooms’ Page of the Children’s Module in the Admin Portal
Log In – Make sure you’re signed into your ChurchPad account.
Click your Profile Icon at the top right.
From the dropdown menu, select "Admin"
You are now in the Admin Portal.
From the left sidebar menu, click on “Children”.
Under the Children menu, select the ‘Classrooms’ option. You should now see a Classroom listing page, which displays all existing classroom categories.
Understanding the Classrooms Listing
On the Classroom page, you’ll typically see columns like:
Name: The title of each classroom category (e.g., “6–7 Years,” “Caleb Crew,” etc.).
Created At: The date and time the classroom category was created.
Actions: A button or drop-down (often labeled “Edit” or “⋮”) that provides options such as Edit Classroom or Delete Classroom.

Using the Search Bar
Look for the Type to search… field near the top of the page.
Type in part of a classroom name (e.g., “Blazers”) to quickly filter the list.
Adding a New Classroom Category
Click the Add New Classroom button (usually found at the top-right corner).
A panel or dialog labeled Add Classroom Category will appear.
Enter a Category Name (e.g., “Visioners”).
Set the From (Year) and Month and the To (Year) and Month fields:
These typically define the age range in years and months. For example:
From (Year) = 10, Month = 0
To (Year) = 12, Month = 11
This means children from 10 years, 0 months old up to 12 years, 11 months old will be assigned to this classroom category.
Click Add Category (or Save).
Your new classroom will appear in the main list.

Editing an Existing Classroom
In the Actions column next to the classroom name, select Edit from a drop-down.
A panel labeled Edit Classroom Category will open.
Update the Category Name if you need to rename it (e.g., from “Visioners” to “Visionaries”).
Adjust the From and To year/month values to redefine the age bracket.
Click Save to confirm your changes.

Deleting a Classroom
Next to the classroom you want to remove, click Actions → Delete Classroom.
A confirmation dialog will pop up with the message: “Are you sure you want to delete this Classroom? This action cannot be undone.”
If you are certain, click Delete Classroom.
Choose Go Back if you decide not to proceed.
